About Us

TamilNadu Teachers Housing and Welfare Trust is formed by Teachers Community with the object to unite the entire community of teachers whether School, College or Technical Institution, Arts, Science or Craft irrespective of Grade such as Secondary, Graduate, P.G., B.Ed., etc., and all the other Ministerial staff attached to Educational Institute, Caste, Community, Sex, Religion or race, in abound of friendship to look after themselves for all their needs particularly housing, health and education.

The trust has it's Head office located at No.36/1, Ramakrishnapuram, First floor, North Usman Road, T.Nagar, Chennai – 600 017.

We identify lands free of encumbrances in good locality suitable for constructing houses immediate or later, for investment purpose, obtain approval from competent authorities; develop layout and provide full infrastructure amenities to add its value.

The beneficiaries by this trust are estimated approximately to nine lakhs. Every year 25000 plots are required in various places of Tamil Nadu. E.g. In Chennai 15000, Bangalore 3000, Coimbatore 3000, Tiruchy 2000, and Madurai 2000 respectively.

We are not providing just Plots, but fully developed infrastructure “Layouts”.

The Trust has the following growth plans for the future:

  • To Start a Club with two or three satellite locations
  • To Start educational Institution like Schools etc.
  • To open a Health Centre in all Layouts.
  • To expand all these activities all over the state.
  • To develop the Layout and do the beautification works in Layouts.
